“I joined The Albatross Group of Companies in June 2003. I started as a Hotel Contractor, before becoming Head of the Wholesale Division.  In my current position as Managing Director I drive sales to trade clients from the UK, Europe, USA and around the world.  I love all aspects of my job and this is due to the great people I get to work with every day. As a team we pride ourselves on customer service, our extensive knowledge of Europe and the specific needs our each of our markets.  Along with our clients, we all share a great passion for travel. I have worked in the industry nearly 20 years and I can’t imagine doing anything else.

 “Having joined Albatross in 1994, my passion for travel shows no sign of waning! Being part of a committed team, creating and operating successful UK and European programs for our clients is at the core of what we do. My role within the team is to help with planning itineraries and preparing detailed quotes along with researching destinations to continually offer competitive prices, products and above all, an invaluable service to our clients.   Personally, I love to travel and have been lucky enough to visit many places in my time here at Albatross including a whirlwind 4 month round the world trip with my family."
 
Lucy Garrett Senior Travel Executive   
 
"I have been with Albatross since April 2000. The majority of my time with the company has been spent  designing, selling and marketing European Touring Programs to the US and Australasian group markets. Previous to Albatross, I worked in a number of different roles within the travel industry including selling tailormade trips to Australia and New Zealand and operating tours for Japanese groups coming to the UK. Travel is a great passion of mine and having spent time seeing the world, working and living overseas, I am settled back in the UK but still regularly regular visit different parts Europe and, when time permits, further a field"

 "I joined Albatross in September 2004 having previously worked as a travel agent, where I gained many years of customer service and a thirst for travel.  My role as a Quality Co-ordinator is to issue contracts to both clients and hotels upon confirmation of a tour. My main focus is to ensure a high quality of standard and consistency is provided throughout all of the tours that we operate, this includes confirming high quality accommodation and negotiating the best deals possible, using good quality restaurants for groups and confirming suitable menus and to ensure consistency in the final operations stage to make certain every tour runs smoothly right down to the little detail on our travel documents".
 
Louise Hammond Senior Operations Executive 
 
"I have been with Albatross since June 2003 and spent a number of years working within our UK Wholesale division. Looking for a new challenge I joined our International team in May 2010 as an International Operations Tour Co-ordinator and am responsible for the successful operation of all European tours for our American and Australian groups. My daily job involves contact with coach operators, guides, hotels and attractions to suit our clients’ needs and to ensure a high standard of customer service is provided to our clients. Personally I love to travel and have been lucky enough to feed this passion through my job".
